Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are very thin shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth. Our dental veneers are made with CEREC technology. By using 3-D images of your teeth, these dental veneers can be made to fit your teeth exactly.

Should I consider getting teeth veneers?

There are plenty of reasons to consider getting teeth veneers. Cosmetically, veneers can give you a uniformly white, straight smile. Porcelain veneers can also help adjust the appearance of teeth that are crooked or misshapen. This may be a good option if you have chips, worn teeth, or severe staining. Lastly, veneers can close unwanted gaps between your teeth.

What does the process of getting porcelain veneers look like?

First you’ll talk to your dentist. Outline what you want for your smile, so you and your dentist will be able to have a conversation about whether or not dental veneers are right for you. If you decide to go forward, the veneers process typically takes two visits.

Before bonding the veneer to your tooth, the dentist will make sure the veneer fits the space and matches the color of your other teeth. Next, the dentist will clean your teeth. This will let the veneer adhere more strongly to your teeth.

Dental cement is then applied, which your dentist will harden with the help of a specialized ultraviolet light. After that, your teeth veneers are finished!

What advantages does the CEREC method offer?

CEREC is an extremely fast, accurate method of creating veneers. By using 3-D computer imaging and manufacturing, CEREC can create veneers that fit your teeth exactly. Best of all, this technology allows us to create your veneers the same day of your appointment!
